Just got my aresfab one ton steering and oddly enough no instructions came with?? Anyone used this product and give some advice? The tie rod ends have a boot and a rubber bushing on them? What size hole do I drill for Chevy TRE? I got the ruffstuff sleeves to go along with them.. Basically looking for general info on an install, including torque specs
If these are what you got http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/...Code=ruffstuff then it tells you in the description what to drill the knuckles to. I'd measure the OD of the bushing to double check.

Anyway, This is a very easy product to install. You have opted for the tapered inserts for this install. We recommend using the reamer method but this will work fine. Just takes longer and costs a little more if you don't have the drill bits.
First remove your old steering.
Then drill out the 2 knuckles in steps (1/8" step up at a time) to get to the final size ruffstuff requires to use their inserts. I think it is 7/8".
Remove the pitman arm and drill that in the same matter as the knuckles. You can do it on the jeep but you will hate it. It take less time to pull it then it does to drill it on your back and have the filings fall in your face.
Install the ruffstuff inserts as per their instructions.
Bolt the track bar on the knuckles. Making sure that the longest tre is on the passenger side.
Then attach the drag link. Making sure to keep the left hand threaded tie rod ends on the passenger side and the right hand tie rod ends on the drivers side.
Tighten all the castles nut, install cotter pins, and if you have not done so install the grease fittings on the tre's.
Grease the ends and have you Jeep professionally aligned.
If this does not help or you have any other questions let us know.

I installed the tie rod bar with the left hand threads on the passenger side, however the drag link is on with the left hand threaded end on the pitman arm. Will this cause any issues? They seemed to adjust ok?
It shouldn't. They are intended to go on the same side mainly for adjustment reasons. That way when you spin the tubing in one direction it goes either in our out depending on the way you spin it. Now they will spin opposite of each other. Just makes adjusting them a little more cumbersome.
