did you order the one for a 98 cherokee? it comes with new bottle... if you didn't then you are on your own to make something work. From GOOGLE I found that you can use bottles form earlier Cherokees and mount it under the hood, or make it tuck under the other fender (looked like a lot of work) or get a 20$ option from ebay....

96 and newer

95 and older

I had a similar issue. I don't know ARB made two different kits for XJ snorkels and I found one on CL for next to nothing. Got it and then when trying to get a bolt hole template from ARB (the one they email is worthless, just do very exact measurements and make your own), discovered I had one for an 84-95 XJ, when mine is a 99. I sinply removed the OE washer reservoir, pulled one from a 94 XJ at the JY, spliced in wires, hooked up the hoses, and put it in between the air box and brake booster (same spot as on the 94). This option will not work if you have a Dane35 with ABS.

yeah, the Dana 30 is the stock front axle on all XJ's. Only the rear Dana 35 had the option of ABS, but since you don't have ABS, it's no matter. Yeah, just snag a bottle with motors from a 94 at a JY. The "Low Washer" dash light has been on since I put in the other bottle, but I think I'm just gonna pull the bulb as it really does me no good. It's pretty easy to pop open the hood and look at the washer fluid level.

Same here. You'd think they would sell replacements parts, but, no, if you want one part from them (washer reservoir) you gotta buy the WHOLE kit again. Pretty lame IMO.

Along with the hose clamps, I did a line of RTV gasket maker on all the hose joints to waterproof it. Did the same thing on the airbox where the hose plate goes on.

If you want I'll trade you a pre 97 washer bottle for the pumps on yours. I ditched my washer bottle and got the older one but ended up selling the snorkel and I had a guy send me the bottle but not any pumps.

hey, I have the 96+ kit, but I did not use all the extra parts (washer fluid bottle and such). If you want to work out a deal send me a PM. Not sure exactly what you need from the pictures above, but let me know.
