ARB locker problem
I am having an issue with my ARB lockers.
When I try to lock the rear, the compressor never stops. I swapped front and rear lines at the compressor and the front locks up as it should and the compressor stops. When I try the rear, the compressor still keeps running.
Clearly, the problem is in either the hose or in the differential. I can’t hear any air leaking anywhere and can't find any damage to the hose.
What should I do before I tear into the rear diff?

if you cant hear any leaks, its in the diff. i would guess the o-rings in the sealing ring are leaking. happened on my ARB. They are cheap to replace. try popping off the breather tube and listening into the axle. you may be able to hear something.

Classic ARB problem. they loose the seal in the diff, especially if you have the O ring style. You will have to remove the carrier and change out the seal

If your ARB is relatively new, ARB had some defictive seals in the air collar on the units. Mine did exactly what you are describing out of the box. Total pain in the butt to fix as you have to pull the diff again, but ARB warrantied the seal assembly. If yours is older, its the same part, just needs to be replaced as a regular maintenance item.
