I was shocked at how little info was out there on how to wire an ARB compressor up without lockers, and without being tied to the ignition and dimmer. So I drew out a wiring diagram of how I wired mine in after spending hours trying to figure it all out. I stripped the wires for the lockers off the harness completely. Cut the large connector off the switch side of the harness and wired the switch connectors directly into the red from the pressure switch and the black ground. This lets your switch light up, but only when the compressor is on. Then splice the red/yellow "ignition line" on the switch into the main red to get current without being tied to the ignition. My diagram shows what it looks like with the masking removed from the wiring harness. My diagram may not be perfect but it should give you an idea of how it all ties together. Hope this helps and saves you some time!
