apn header replacement
when you guys did your header did you reuse the bolts and studs or get new ones?
I thought I was all set to do the install to day and then I got nervous about the bolts. the dealer wanted $80 for the hardware lol and they didn't have em in stock so f that.
should I get new ones online? or will it be OK to reuse the bolts/studs

with a header/intake it's perfectly fine to reuse the bolts.
It's the HEAD bolts that need to be replaced with a swap.

Thanks guys wish I'd seen this earlier. Oh well I ended up finding some in the help section when I went to get a torque wrench and bought them. So now I've got another question. How do you unplug the injector wires? It looks like you push in the tabs but they won't budge.

Just figured it out. There's a little metal wire clip that has to come of.
I'm going to be installing full exhaust and new injectors. (703s)
Apn header new Stock downpipe. "Custom" cat and dynomax "superturbo" (name is hilarious lol) 2.5 catback

im so f&%$$ing pissed right now. things were moving along great got the fuel lines disconnected PS pump unhooked intake manifold off and look at my not even 3 months old motor mounts. BROKEN both of them wtf i just replaced in prep for my header. now I'm screwed cuz i have work tomorrow. looks like ill be riding my bike lol
im cant justify putting this header in with broken motor mounts. especially while they are currently so accessible to be replaced
can anyone recommend motor mounts that dont suck and break after a few months? i went with rubber ones from rock auto because I heard the poly ones are really rough on the dd. but now i dont know what to get

nope, just Brown Dog is what i recommend.
Used by recreational jeep builders and competition rigs as well. By far the best ones out there.

Yea stock motor mounts suck, Mine only lasted the fall and winter wheeling. I installed Ironman motor mounts and they're great. pure beef!!! I recommend them.
They lift you motor 3/4" or so and helps fix driveline vibes (all lift motor mounts do). I have since threw away my tcase drop.

well my brown dog motor mounts should be here tomorrow
so in the mean time I cleaned my intake manifold and I'm trying to remove the stuck on parts of the old exhaust manifold gasket. any advise on getting it off? i dont want to scratch the mounting surface trying to remove left over gasket
