Default Anyone try a 93 v8 grand cherokee alternator?

I have a 1994 Cherokee and i made it to work on a bad alternator. I work at a U pull it so i have access to parts but I don't have a 91 up Cherokee. I know people use the 1998 Grand Cherokee v8 alternators and they have to grind their brackets but this 93 v8 alternator isn't big like the 98's.

I'm hoping someone else might have tried this at some point.

It's the same amps as the regular Cherokee so your not gaining anything. But it would save from having to buy one.

Thanks.
