If you do decide to do otk, you will need a ota track bar as well. Unless you fancy bumpsteer haha.

One of my buddies I wheel with (Chademinent on the forum) has it and likes it. It is stout, takes a beating and he can travel down the highway at 70 in a straight line. He has no bumpsteer and no issues with the heims. I've considered getting it a few times... Have the Currie system currently. Just waiting till I get a larger axle to figure it out.

I like everything Ive ever gotten from IRO.

im running it on my 01 DD. im sitting at 4.5" of lift currently. its very and I mean very beefy setup although make sure you take care of your heims. I live in upstate NY and well neglected to keep the lubricated so im started to get some problems with the heims (not there fault that's mine). although I do get some bump steer. im running a rustys 2.5-6.5" lift bracket that uses the factory bracket. I called IRO and they said that to get rid of the bump steer I should upgrade to there track bar bracket or track bar setup, but what I did manage to figure out is that you need around 3/4" of drop over stock to correct it all (the IRO bracket provides 3/4" of drop over stock and is designed to work with there steering setup).

other then me neglecting the hiems and the slight bump steer that I get I love the setup. I grounded it on a couple of rocks many times before and never had any problems. I did a DIY alignment with a tape measure and the thing drives down the road straight as an arrow as well.

Ok well I'm a certified alignment tech at work so that's not a problem. I'm running an adjustable track bar from re right now it's got a heim on the drivers side and with the mis alignments spacers seems to drop it 3/4". I've been looking at the Iro double shear track bar as well. And I don't really want to drill out my knuckles just yet.

It it tight at the pitman arm or not ? I was figuring that it would come with all the spacers needed

just like everything else taking a tre the pitman has a taper (i even called BDS as i use their dropped one that came with my kit and they confirmed it's existance). So it doesn't (to me anyway) make a lot of sense to use one at each knuckle but not at the pitman. I ordered a couple after the fact and it slides right in just like the knuckle ones do. On occasion i could feel a little "something ain't right" in the steering, but since adding it that's gone

I just called Iro and spoke with john ? I think and he assured me that the kit now contains all three taper inserts and everything needed to install. It's unstick and so is the trackbar I will be ordering it today

I thought the sales pitch behind this kit was that you don't have to run an OTA track bar. the drag link still goes UTK and lines up pretty well with the factory track bar

Yeah I noticed that, doubt it wont be entirely bump steer free. Someone correct me if I am wrong though.

Everyone says that is you are running a track bar bracket that drops the frame side by .75" it will be bump steer free so that's why I went with there double shear track bar plus it will get rid of my re single shear one I have now

You do not need the over the axle track bar with the iro over the knuckle steering.
Because the draglink is under the knuckle. I'll be picking this kit up in the next couple day just waiting on taxes.
