Anyone with the 4x4 posi lock cable kit?

Installed this kit to be able to manually lock and unlock front axles in my Cherokee. Everything went smooth but to me it seems the cable doesn't actuate smoothly or as easily as it should. When installing I noticed how smoothly the fork slides back and forth with very little force exerted. Has anyone else had this issue with this aftermarket axle lock system? I used the part number recommended for lifted XJ's, way too much cable but I kept the bends as large as possible to reduce binding. If anyone else has installed these let me know if yours are sticky or smooth as butter.

I'v installed a few.

If you feel any resistance when engaging put vehicle in gear and slight roll as you pull the knob. Slides in like butter..

Don't try to force it, you'll break an OEM cast aluminum shift fork.

i've tried two. the older version with T handle that was in the jeep when i got it. didn't work well, so i replaced it with the newer red knob twist style and the upgraded fork. that didn't work great either, so i swapped out to a solid axle 30 from a limited jeep with the larger u-joints. never looked back.
