Default anybody ever install fog lights on the corners of their hood?

I was planning on buying a pillar light brackets but then I thought that mounting some 6" lights on the Hood in the corners by the mirrors would look good and different. Anybody got any pictures? Do you think it would get in the way of vision?

I think it might smash them when you open the hood.

Do they project enough light from up there?

Seems like they don't have as much height as when they're on the a pillar and would just light up you hood.

Just a little on the fender edges if the lights are straight ahead but you don't really notice it. I usually nudge them slightly outward and down to widen the area of illumination and there is no glare at all off the hood/fenders.

I don't see how they don't block your view. I've got a pillar brackets and they restrict view a tad. Not tons, but enough to notice.

mine aren't on the pillar so they sit real low and out of the way. ill get a pic later from the drivers seat from eye level.
