Default Another set of d30 spiders.......kapow!

Why didn't you guys tell me you can't run an open front end and actually get anywhere?

Brake locking the front I broke another set.

I would rather run 2wd than have another open front end.

You could have an open front. You are just not suppose to do what you are doing.

Yea I know. Problem is that there is no way I am going to stop. So If I buy another set of spiders and run open. First time I need to be somewhat locked I will do it and there goes the spiders.

no self control I guess.

Locker for certain this time.

How I broke them was this. I was climbing this tall rock as in the picture. Using my rock sliders to lift the wheels on the drivers side off the ground, then I would brake lock the open front diff to pivot my jeep around the rocks. It was a tight area, and its the only way I could make the turn. PLus it was a lot of fun. About the 3rd time doing it they broke.

Thinking of going with a spartan locker.

Anyone know the best place to get one? Probably order it tonight.

Thanks.

you could also email Robert at RWKhaussupply and see if he has any sort of special coming up or better price for a CF member

Paid 225 for my spartan. Call wayne at diffsonly.com. Has some great prices. He is a big pirate vendor. Tried to get him over here for everyone but he is too busy with the sites he already does. But still a great price.
