i have jeep j10 and it has dana 44s front and rear and a amc 304 v8!
so i have been reading the 304 v8 will bolt up to the aw4 trans so i am planning on bolting the 304 to the aw4 and hook up switch to control the trans. Then i plan on taking the dana 44s cut off all the mounts weld new ones on and preping and paint the axles then install them on my xj. but my question is when i go to put the 304 in should i take all the wiring and computer out of the j10 and put it in my xj or could i some how get the engine running with the xjs wiring and computer? the only reason i ask is the j10 has no power inside and my xj is power everything, and i dont know if the wiring for all power windows and stuff go into the computer? if anyone could help me that would be great
