Aluminum Wheels fixed up
The aluminum Micky Thompson Wheels on my XJ were brown and nasty when I bought it.
Here's what I started with this morning. Kinda muddy .
Pressure washed them and scrubbed them to get this.
Scrubbed with Muriatic acid and a stiff brush, then water and 0000 Steel Wool. The wheels sizzled when the acid solution (%50 water) hit them.
Then hit them with wheel polish and lots of elbow grease.
Still not perfect but MUCH MUCH better!

I bought a set of steel pacer rims that were really dull, with some rust in places. Picked up a bottle of "white diamond" wheel polish from advance, and boy did it work great! made them look like new chrome.
Edit: was meaning to say you might could try it to get a better Polish. The way I posted made it seen like a thread jacking
