Default Alternative to AJ's Rock Rails??

Well... I waited too long. Finally got around to working on the XJ again. I ordered an Or-Fab HD front winch bumper with hoop, and an XRC8 Competition winch to go with it. Figured I might as well pull the trigger on AJ's rock rails. Only to find out he's no longer in business.

Anyone know who makes a set with a second rail for a step, ideally angled upward, that I can pick up for around $275 shipped?

I know Rigidco makes his, but I don't think he has a second rail option. JCR is too high, as is Rocky Road. I don't care for the looks of the C4X4 units. With all the purchases I just made, along with the $200 I have tied up in the FST HID kit that I'm still waiting on, I'm on a budget. I'd consider buying used as well, provided they aren't beat up.

Okay...
All last night I couldn't get on AJ's site. At all. Tried for hours. I started wondering if maybe they were out of business and did some searching. Found several threads stating that he had sold out around the middle of last year due to health problems. I figured the new owner shut down the site and was operating under another name.

Tonight, however, I can get right in to his site.

That being said, I started noticing that his rails with double tubes seem to stick out further than I would like. Not that that is bad, just not my preference. Ares Fab has a double tube that fits tighter to the body, and also offers and option to have the outer tube up on an angle.

I think I might call Rigidco and see if they are willing to do something similar. Wish I could find somebody in North Texas. $80 for shipping is putting those things out of my budget right now.

If money is that tight try a local welder and you can get designs and specs online of how to make them.
