Anyone ever use an SLP muffler/resonator? I had thier "loudmouth'' exhuast on my old mustang and loved it. Just wondering if its worth it to buy a $75 "muffler" or just run it straight out of the cat

I'm pretty sure walker makes ones in different sizes. Part #s were in this thread somewhere I think. I'll look.

We are talking about the downpipe, after the header before the cat right?

ok so what size adapter do I need muffler i believe is 2.5in outer diameter and the pipe after the cat is 2.25 I think, anyway just wondering what size adapter would be the right one.

For the muffler would it still be 2.5in but inner diameter ?

Yes, a few weeks ago I took my rig in to the muffler shop to get her new exhaust system from the collector to the muffler 2-1/2" and it dumps @ the muffler (magnaflow) with a 3" turn down, he bent me up a S pipe and I kinda don't like it, its better than the stock one thow but it looks a little to pinched.so im just wondering if there's any good ones out there?

If I remember correctly the Walker downpipe that's 2.5" isn't mandrel bent its got the ripples or whatever from being bent. I dunno what to call it.

so I got the exhaust, magnaflow muffler hooked up I like how it sounds but I got a problem the tail pipe near the end hangs kinda low. Its like that because of the bent in the pipe if I lifted it up to high the pipe would hit the frame of the car n rattle. It hangs even with the bottom of the heat shield kinda wanted it higher.

Anyone else have this issue with the performance curve exhaust ? Its either the pipe or I did a ****ty job putting it on lol but I tried my best I maybe could of twisted it a lil more to give me a slightly better clearance from the frame but I dont think that would work out cuz then the muffler hole wouldnt line up with the pipe.

That's why you go to an exhaust shop and tell them you want it high and tight
