As for the lift itself, i love it. Greasable shackles and the rear springs are great. Just be warned that NITRO shocks are relatively stiff on pavement but perform excellent off road. I am glad i got the nitros but will probably get bilsteins in the future.

I have the zone 4.5 with full leafs and short arms. After a year im still at 5in rear 5.5 up front. I never got adj. UCA because i figured i would get a long arm kit. My xj is my DD and I can definately see where long arms are more usefull. Hard bumps in the road really translate up to your chair instead of being absorbed by the suspension.

Do you know if it's normal for zone to get that much out of the 4.5 kit? That looks really nice!

I put a lift on with some bigger tires now I have rubbing. I think this is the thread I need to be on to get advice, if not, tell me.
Old Man Emu from Rocky-Road 2-3" lift.
Cut out the fenders
Cooper AT3s 32x11.5xr15
Here's the problem, when the wheel is turned fully, there is rubbing along the lower control arm. As a temp fix, I put washers on a nut that limits how far the wheels can turn. However, I don't like this.
Reading around, I find there are a few fixes. Spacers (greatly looked down on), new wheels with the correct offset, or a different LCA.
I think, I only need a 1/4" or less spacer to clear the LCA. My "thinking" is fairly subjective, as I've done no measuring.
New wheels seems to be the "right way". I didn't comprehend what I read on how to measure backspace. Partly because I'm sleepy, mainly because I'm a lil' simple.
Different LCAs. One guy, with a similar problem, fixed his with a WJ's LCA. IDK.
I'm leaning towards new wheels. I found some new crager steelies for $55 or so. I may also have a problem with the rear rubbing during flex, but haven't tried it yet.
What do you guys think? What are my considerations for making this decision? Be gentle, break it down with the big crayons for me. I'm not a mechanic, it took me two full days, in the autozone parking lot, to put on the lift. Thanks fellaz

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm too lazy to look. I have a 6" lift on my Cherokee and 31 inch tires. Can I go to 33's without rubbing when going around corners?

Stiffer shocks or
Bumpstop the axles or
Trim the fenders or
Put the right swaybar links on it or
Higher spring rate suspension

I wouldn't have answered because he's too lazy to look. Why waste my time because someone else is too lazy to do their own homework. It's like when you would get to class and someone would say "did you do your homework?" Yes, but you can't copy it because you were too lazy to do it. Google can answer his question in a minute.

You have to either use the bracket or buy an adjustable track bar, otherwise the rear axle will not be centered.
