01 Parts Into 98 Body
I have a 4WD Manual 2001 XJ/SE that has body damage but all of the parts are good. As I am writing this I am on my way to get a good running 2WD Manual 1998 XJ/SE.
I wan to take the 01 XJs engine, transmission, front & rear axles, drive line, 3.5in lift, etc. Then rebuild them from the ground/block up with upgrades. Then install them into the 98 body.
Now to my question…
What if any problems am I going to have?

Mostly a direct bolt in/out swap. Not much for issues come to mind.
Losing track of the new one in the woods would be the concern. Got a fob with horn beeps?
