Alarm System

Are there any alarm systems that work better in 95 XJ's for one reason or another? Also I heard that is impossible to bypass the power lock in the XJ's to install a keyless entry systems.:brickwall:

I have seen a number of pre-97' XJs with alarm systems installed.

I recommend the Viper/Cliford (DEI) smart ones - includes immobilizer, alarm (with various sensors) and remote start (nice to have) - they have two way messaging and the remote range can get over 1000ft.

if you get last year's model or even a year before, the price is significantly lower, while the features are very similar.
