Cj? Or did you mean xj? And I don't see why it wouldn't pass. I'm not a huge fan of air shocks though.

I ment xj lol...the reason I'm going for air shocks is because they are cheaper than coilovers and if I do the 4 link I wouldnt want to down grade to a coil and shock absorber set up and loose possible suspention travel and air shocks are easier to set up on and axel....why don't you like them?

I have the Pro Comp MX6 monotube shocks, they rock my socks. Great shocks that take those rough terrains and they are completely adjustable.

I don't think the tuneability is there is an air shock, and they're not the best on the street (which you prob care about since you asked about inspections). You can get used loaded 2.0 coilovers pretty cheap.

Those shocks need a spring as well the air shocks he's talking about don't. They aren't the same ones us ole red necks used on our Cameros way back when.

This http://www.eadoffroad.com/truxxx-off...inch-air-shock Some of my buddys use them. They seem to work pretty good but I do not know if they will pass inspection in your area.

I haven't heard much about truxx, but check out profender. They're a legit racing company based in Taiwan and are supplying to the USA out of NY. I know guys racing on their stuff and they perform well. Good quality and cheap prices.
