Default Air intake questions

So I have some questions on which way to go, just looking for opinions and any helpful info. With that said I recently changed my injectors to 745s and got my bored out throttle body, and I was wondering if a cold air intake would help make a difference in mpg and hp in combination or just go with a stock intake and k&n filter. Thoughts appreciated!

I had the stock intake on mine for a few years. traded staight across for my K&N intake. has a new filter, and to be honest I didn't notice enough to warrant it being worth money in my opinion. its really the same with a tiny bit louder engine noise on hard accel/higher rpm. but nothing noticed in the power/MPG. it seamed to have a smother power band, but nothing really noticable, could be all in my head lol. but i did have 32's and stock gearing at the time...

Unless its falling in your lap I would stick with a factory box and a K&N filter.
