ahas anyone mounted bushwackers after a cut and fold??
Hello evryone i havnt posted here before so correct me if im wrong! I figured this was proper place to post.
My question, i want to do a cut and fold now but im hesitant because when i move to cali the laws state i need fenders to cove my tires.i want to eventually throw on some bushwackers (id rather spend $ on lockers right now)but im not sure if ill be able to mount them after a cut and fold i looked at the bushwackers instructions and they use the top stock flare mounting holes but cuting gets rid of those.i want to see if anyone has done a cut and fold then successfuly mounted bushwacker i was thinking i could leave tabs with the fold em under and then bend them back out to mount bushwackers or something of that nature. Has anyone done this?? Ive serched my but off and cant find anything please help!thanks!

Cool guys thanks for the imput. I guess it really doesnt matter if i do a cut and fold unless using the flat flares ,for the pocket style ill just bolt it into the body however i can fit it that should hold it on good just like the napiers in theory. I just didnt want to cut and then buy the bushwacker for 400 bucks and be screwed lol wish i had a bud that had em so i could hold them physically and play with the plan in my head. Do the pocket style bushwackers have that plastic backing that goes on first (like the flat flares) that the flare then mounts too?

the napier flares are designed to stop in the rear where you cut. they are shorter back there if that makes since, the bwackers are not going to fit correctly unless you chop off the over hang in the rear of the flare after cutting the body.

I just removed my whackers, cut my fronts and rolled my rears and only had a little trimming to do to make them fit well.
