Aftermarket volt gauge

Id run it to the battery, the main problem with the stock gauge is that it is AFTER the headlights, dash lights, radio, etc. It doesnt show actual battery voltage.

Honestly with voltage it doesn't matter where you put it. The voltage across everything in the main 12-14 volt wiring is the same. Which is why when your headlights dim your radio and dash lights dim and your new gauge will drop no matter where you put it. Even at the battery it will drop when under load.
