Aftermarket headunit power but no sound??
I have an 01 xj sport, I have hooked my aftermarket radio in, its getting power and everything works but no sound. I've even tried with a different speaker hooking it directly up to the HU. Could anyone help me out? I have a kenwood kdc-138

So your getting power to head unit. If so main thing I would check back is your wires double check them and make sure you haven't by mistake placed a wire in wrong spot.

have you tried resetting the hu? there may be a tiny button on the front face, or behind the face plate that you can push in with a pen. Usually to reset it you hold that button in for a few seconds and it will beep or you'll hear it try to eject or simething
