Default After market CD player help

I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport and im planning on taking the stock unit out and putting in a aftermarket cd player. I know how to pop off the bezell, but do i need a aftermarket bracket? Because the stock unit looks alot bigger than the aftermarket unit. Ive got the wiring chart, but this is my first time putting in a cd player, is it relatively easy to do? Thanks!

The wiring harness mentioned above and a dash kit (plastic surround to fill in the extra space) should be all you need. Real simple and will take less than 30-40 minutes if its your first time.

you should be able to get an adapter harness for the wiring. I'm doing this in the near future to my 99 Xj and this is what I plan on using:
