After Lift popping...Question?

Okay, 97 Cherokee sport. RC 4.5 lift with full packs.
After the usual suspects (broken leaf spring eye bolt, all 4 shock mounts in rear, blah, blah...), I have a popping noise in the back. I had to pull my hitch to replace the rear shackle bolts to the leafs.
I fished grade 8 hardware into the shock mounts from the frame and installed correctly.
Will be putting 31's on it on monday, just curious if anyone had any idea how and where to start diag on this popping noise. I'm doing it all by myself as I don't have anyone to help.
thanks folks.
This sight has been extremely helpful as I'm on my 3rd XJ.
Thank you all again for any help.

Have you rechecked the torque on the U bolts for the leaf springs?
They should be approximately 55 ft/lbs.
When you replaced the shackle bolts did you tighten the bolts with the vehicle weight on the tires and rear axle or when it was suspended in the air. The bolts should be tightened with the full vehicle weight on the tires and rear axle otherwise you are preloading the bushings which will cause them to prematurely wear out.

I did retighten them under load, but I will recheck my U-bolts tomorrow. Thanks for the insight.
