Advanced Radiator and Coolant Tank
Hey all, I got a '89 Cherokee Base.
Im looking to do some changes to my cooling system. Does anyone know where I can find an aluminum coolant tank or a radiator that will fit and has a cap?

I found 1 on ebay with aluminum tanks for $199.00. You just have to look for one for a newer year XJ. 92 or above will do, I believe. The ones with plastic tanks are less than half that price and are what I've seen on most of the XJ's around here. Also, I'd go with a 2 row over a 1 row and if you have an auto trans, make sure it has the TOC fittings.

If I remember correctly that older cherokee has a closed system? search around on the forums here and you should be abl to find a thread that shows you how to do it.
Other than that if you take a look here...
radiator barn
as they have some great radiators. You can get the stock one which is a 2 row with plastic end caps. The 3 row full aluminum is the best you can get IMHO.
theres a lot more you can do than just upgrade the radiator and i would look into that as well mate
