Adjustable track bar
How do you figure out how long you need to make your track bar? And how can you tell if it's centered?
Thanks!
Thanks!

easiest way to tell is jut by looking at it, or a good alignment shop will adjust the track bar for you (if it is infact an adjustable trac bar) and center your axle.

Tire Pros (if they are around you) does track bar and lift adjustments. The one by my house is bad *** and the dudes their do a great job.
If not i use two people. I have one person inside the truck and the other person on the ground. I measure from the frame to the edge of the wheel to make sure its even on both sides. Adjust the track bar and mount.

Only some do. Make sure you call and ask first and make sure they actually know what they are doing before you take it down there.
I talked to the guys at Tire Pros and did some work on my DD there before taking my Jeep there. Most of the techs there have 4x4s or have had 4x4s and did the work themselves. I also work with them while they are doing it sometimes just to learn and hang out. So i trust them.

if you want it done right, then take it to 4wheelparts, or an equivalent store. for 100 bucks 4wheelparts set my steering, lower control arms, track bar, and my drive shaft angle after my long arm kit install. they even set the wheel base! so just take it to someone that knows what they are doing and you cant go wrong!

X1,if your mechanically inclined at all its not really a big deal.Theres not even much to do doing a DIY alignment, lots of threads about.I wont ever pay for an alignment again. But to answer your original question I just put a 4' level against the tire vertically and measure from the level over to the fender,do this on both sides and do the math to figure how far you need to move the axle over to get it centered
