Default Adjustable MAP Sensor

So the pre-built ones are no longer available- at least that I can find- So I was reading these and it seems fairly easy to do-
http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoMAPsensor.htm
http://www.angelfire.com/my/fan/MAP_adjuster.html

The wires are different colors but I think I could figure it out based on voltage etc.

My question is this-
Does this even work with the OBDII? Just cause problems? Does it do it automatically? I can't seem to find a single write-up or anything for a newer one- just unanswered questions.

Thanks!

Never mind- Looks like most of the stroker guys use this one
http://www.strokedjeep.com/regulator.html

So Ill just purchase that and call it good-I'll leave the burden of my questions on him

Heads up, don't search for Jeep MAP sensor. The MAP that Jeep uses on the 4.0 is a Chevrolet style MAP. There are a lot of options when you look for them in the Chevy section.

Not needed for an OBDII.

I just think it would be awesome to be adjustable... Going for a long drive to wheeling spot, turn it to improve mpg (even slightly). Once you arrive, turn it for more power. But I don't know if the OBDII would override it or not.
