Default Adjustable control arm question.

Is there any problems fitting lower adjustable control arms from a ZJ? I have found a set cheap and wanted to make sure that I could use them on my XJ. Thanks

Nope. The LCA's will fit the same way. Just make sure they're the right length you need.

What's the benefits of having adjustable arms on either top or bottom and not both.

Set your caster angle and to alleviate driveline vibes (vibes more prone to 00-01 LP axles).

You need new LCA's around 3" of lift and the stock UCA's are good until about 5". The stock UCA's are very tiny and thin, if you find a good deal on good adjustable arms, I would replace all 4.

I'm at 4.5 and don't have any vibes and my caster seems to be ok.

On top will help you adjust the caster more so then the lower would but if you look how ****ty the lower arms from the factory lowers are. Huge improvement.

Might be worth it if you get a good deal. Trade you a transmission.

I would run the adjustables and sell the fixed ones, assuming they're a good brand and the bushings/ joints are ok.

That's uppers. They are about the same price, maybe $130 for lowers.

That's new typically.
