Default adding onto marker lights

this might sound stupid, but i wanted to add a few extra led marker lights on my xj. i have been looking and how can you, if you can, tie into the stock wiring for the marker lights?

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I added a couple LEDs just spliced into the circuit. Problem with using LEDs is they don't draw enough current to make the flashers work, but since I still have my good old incandescent bulbs in the same circuit they work fine.

You can also use a relay and flasher and hook them into a different circuit run off the same switch as the blinkers. that's a bit more complex, but it would work better if you are trying to put a ton of extra lights on there.

I installed some 3/4" led marker lights in the tail light housings I built. They are optronics brand, I wired them straight to the factory wiring, they require a 3/4" hole and they are nice and bright. The red one is for side marker and the amber is for a side blinker.

Then just run a relay that's switched by the circuit that the parking lights run off and power them straight from the battery. Do you know how to wire a relay?

Just tap wherever is easiest. No relay needed, as the current draw from a small marker LED is almost nothing, <.1 amps.
