I have recently acquired an old Accel Super coil, the big yellow brick. I have tested it and it is still good so now im wondering, could i use this on my '91? I read up a little and found that with a points ignition you need the supplied ballast resistor but with electronic ignition you dont. I really dont care if it throws the CEL because i already took the bulb out! I just want to be sure it wont be too hot and burn up anything in my ignition. So far i got an Accel cap, rotor, 8mm super stock wires and new iridium plugs.
