ABS stub shaft in non abs axle

Default ABS stub shaft in non abs axle
Can an ABS axle shaft be made to use in a non abs axle? leave the relucter ring on, remove it?

The shafts are the same.

The tone ring is removable, but does not need to be removed for a non-ABS application.

cool, thanks for the reply, I needed a complete shaft and can only find the one for abs

I always replace the u joint while I have the shaft out and just knock the ring off while I have it apart.
