about to lift, what do i need (tools wise)
So im about to put on my 6.5 lift longarm, was wondering what parts / misc. i need. i know i need
1. pitman arm sep
2. brake fluid
3. transfer case oil ( dont know what one tho for 2000 xj)
4. pb blaster
anyone else have any ideas? we've got 2 days to put on the lift, should that be enough for 3-4 guys? cant wait and expect a good build thread next week, anyway let me know your input .thankksss

you could do that lift in 2 days with 2 guys if you bolts didnt give you any problems! good luck with the lift and post pictures. Dont forget impact gun and WD40! i spray that stuff like silly string...

ah yes forgot my dad is bringing home from work impact gun + shallow sockets + snap ring tool for the transfer case

You can forget the impact for the leaf bolts. Grab a 6' cheater bar and a 1/2" breaker bar and get to work! LOL Try PBlaster instead of WD40 it seems to work about 100 times better.

Don't forget to torque them back down after 500 miles and the 21 and 22 mm are most comin keep a sawzaw handy for bad bolts most likely the rear shock bolts will break so bar bin eliminators or use rear sway bar brackets lots and lots of pb blaster! Impact would really help but breaker bar will be your best friend. And like already stated the leaf spring bolts are a PITA! Best of luck hope it comes out good

I would also suggest a MAPP gas torch you can get them at any home improvement store and they're pretty cheap. They burn hotter than a propane torch and will help break rust that PB Blaster won't. Just watch were you're burning so you don't catch anything on fire!.
