99 xj -monroe MA765 rear air shock exhaust side problem which way to face?
not sure if there is a thread on here but maybe someone using these for the rear can tell me . its a stock 99 jeep and using the monroe MA765 air shocks . they are the application for this truck but also many other cars. lol I called monroe they said its in their notes that there is a problem but no solution has been found.
the shocks are suppose to face in and be 4 inches from hot parts . when you do that the air port is about 2 inches from the tail pipe without line in it. so a sharper turn would be needed also not good not sure if it can even be done. who has encountered this . im thinking of making a custom shield. im not sure if you can turn the port out towards the tire. let me know thanks
