99+ intake swap on a 93
My friend has a 93 XJ and we have all the parts together for the 99+ intake swap. The problem is a power steering pump. With the bracket we got off a 98 it looks like it will mount up, but is the bolt pattern the same? The pump looks near identical to mine, but want to be sure before tearing everything down to realize he needs a new pump.
tl;dr version-anyone done a intake manifold swap on a 93 or other pre 96 year with the old mounting?

I did this swap but took everything off a 00. Chrysler is cheap so I'm pretty confident they didnt change it since they switched over to that style mounting in 97

I'm swapping a 98 engine into my 92. I'm wanting to use the 98 intake for now since I plan to swap a 99 on later. I'm guessing I need to remove the idler pulley off the A/C condenser mount (it's off my 92) and use the 98 power steering pump and bracket. I'm making the assumption I will then need a belt to fit a 98 and follow the 98 belt roueting? I'm using the water pump off my 92 since I just put it in a month ago, will this be an issue? I haven't compared the belt routing yet to verify it will still turn the same direction. Just looking for some input from those that are familiar with the process.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The 96+ P/S pump brackets will bolt right up to the 93 with no issues, but you will have to use a serp belt from a 96 or newr XJ. The newer setup makes adjusting the belt a lot easier. It would also be a good time to replace the idler pulley if is the original.

Just compared the part numbers and figured as much. Water pump part numbers are the same also. I'm working on swapping the power steering pump over and already swapped the A/C condenser mount to delete the idler pulley.
This is all that is needed?
