'98 NP242 SYE question
I've been looking all over, haven't been able to find a true SYE for a 242 t case, only HnT. does anyone know of a place that sells one? I don't need one as of the moment, but it'd be nice to know if there was one out there for the future. Thanks a lot

Tom Woods is the closest you are going to get for a true SYE for the 242. I am running one on my 98 and have no issues with it. Tried the H&T originally, but it developed too much wobble. So went with next step....that made since for me at the time. I wanted to keep the 242's full time option, was driving in snow....a lot. But if I just needed a SYE now, I would find a 231 and start from there.

Thanks guys. Kinda figured that. I cant wait to get some snow to see how the 242 handles it. We usually have a good amount of snow and ice here in central Iowa. The 231 on my last 98 classic did well, just a little rough making those sharp turns in 4wd.
