I have a 97 tj with a 2.5 and my buddy has a 94 yj that he flipped with a high output 4.0 can I swap complete engine into my 97 tj I have welding experience there both 5speeds the 4.0 has a fresh rebuild motor its the yj renegate model. I will be buying complete donor jeep will I still be able to pass smog he used to pass smog with no issues. But it is a 94 fuel Injection 4.0? Any advise is appreciated thanks.
