Default 97+ shift mod?

My buddy has a module with a switch and a dial where he can lock his tranny and make it stay in 1st gear....his is a 95 though...is one of these mods to do on a 97+? as I have a 99

its done the same way, its just the tranny module is located in a different spot

look em up about 150 for the kit, well worth it. i have a 98 tried and tried to do it myself, um no couldnt figure it out. their kit works

u can do it for like $10 if u do it urself its pretty easy

Where is the TCM at on the 97+? Are the pins still the same?

believe its under driver side dash on right side closest to center...should say aisin or however its spelled

I thought the TCM was under the console on 97+

its a harness of alot of different wires...and if your laying on your back on driver side looking under dash its above to the left...

Everytime you use it, the Check Engine Light will come on for 50 key on/offs.
