want a large. 15 inch lift what is the best way to get the best lift possible with or without very much custom fabrication.

im a welder and own a cj7 with 13 inches of lift on 40s leafs springs are the way to go for our xjs that means a little work but its doable

With that much leaves will look like a U, I'd go 3 link front and 4 link rear. It will be a decent bit of fab but with that much lift (twice what any company I found offers) plan on a good bit. You plan on running 60" tractor tires with that?

15 inches would be completely custom for an XJ. Tons and tons of fabrication. That's a huge amount of lift, really impractical.

why do you need so much lift. (other than running over cars that dont get out of your way.) and how big of tires are you gonna put on it?

I plan on putting 60" on it to get through the snow in leadvill Colorado the snow is so deep that snowmobiles have trouble getting through it. I will fully fabricate all suspension components if nesesary. Any good tips?

Measured from center of hub to the fender against a stock xj, both with cut fenders the exact same.



This XJ was a leaf spring conversion in the front, not sure of what all was involved, but my buddy did alot of paint and body work and ended up with this. Those are 38's btw
