Default 96 XJ Unibody falling?

I noticed today that my passenger side seems to have dropped to where its suppose to be connected? Am I right and is there a correct way to fix this? It has a 8.5" lift in the front right now and 6.5" in rear. If you need any more info let me know!

Do you think it wouldnt be safe to drive it like that? I kinda just got it and havent really been driving it do to wanting to put a SYE on it and a few other small things. Unfortunately the MI rust has done its damage on it as well.

Did you get it for free? It's definitely lifted way passed the limitations of short arms. I can't imagine the rest If the rig being set up safely. I'd say definitely don't take it on the freeway.

It could just be the floor pan. Maybe it was replaced at some point and the PO did a crummy job. It sure doesn't look in good shape. More pics?

Thats exactly what they did actually after looking at it more you can see where they cut it out. So is it still unsafe? Here are a few more pics.

oh yikes. stock uppers, stock steering, stock rear output, how did you get that to your driveway? people have issues running that same setup at 4.5" of lift haha

the body looks clean though so it's not a loss. see if someone on craigslist will trade you their stock suspension for your lifted one plus cash. then go from the ground up again. you've basically got a stock jeep with a tall lift and a messed up floor. the rest of the setup is probably more unsafe than the floor pan coming. even though that's a good sized issue too

you've got some work ahead of you

For sure...that thing squats like my dog on the lawn, LOL...I completely agree here, take it back down to stock and start over...re-do the floor pans, and get your self a solid base to work from, then go from there. If it sounds like too much work, dump it, and start fresh with a new platform.

You can clearly see the uppers are not stock. Rather than going to stock suspension I would say get a good 3-4 inch lift then try to unload yours on Craig's list or something

Not something I would care to drive on or off road. Hope you didn't pay very much for it with all the work your going to have to do to it just to get it to drive down the road right.

Good Luck, let use know how it goes.

Thanks for all the input guys. At this point I just want to put it up for sale. It has 2" spacers in front and I think I am going to remove those before I sell it so its not as high in the front. Also I bought quick disconnects for it but would rather save those for my next jeep. Are their any options for cheaper front sway bar links?
