Long story short.. Lent out my 94 xj to a family member for a week… the clutch froze so they forced it and popped the slave cylinder.
They felt bad and paid a mechanic to replace the SC, and when I got home and went to drive it the clutch felt short and is really sticky in and out of first/reverse, even into second and third after driving it a while. This was last year.
So, at the encouragement of others i replaced the possibly "leaky" Master, and now its worse. Lame!
I pulled the SC and pumped it a few times nice and slow like, to try and bleed it cause this particular SC doesn't have a bleeder. despite rumors of a "small hex" buried in a threaded sleeve on the top of the SC. Still worse…Lame!

Where to go from here? Someone mentioned maybe the shift fork got bent in the trama?

Should I replace the Slave again?

Try bleeding it first.
If it doesn't have a bleeder you can open a line.
