Picking up a '93 engine with less than 100k on it shortly and swapping it in for my current '90 engine with 172+k on it. I know some basic stuff as to what I'll need to keep but I would appreciate a fairly detailed list so i don't f**k it up.
Also, any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Strip both motors to the long block, then swap all the stuff from the 90 onto the 93 long block, its pretty simple and straight forward.

Yep. Be sure to use your flywheel, dizzy and 90 intake/exhaust gasket.

The 93 motor has a plug in the driver side of the block where your CTS needs to go. Remove that plug before installing the engine. It's a 5/16" square drive.

Just pulled my 92' straight six with 220,000 and scored a 93' 4.0 with 75,000 on the clock and everything has bolted up the same. Not sure about 90' tho, I had a prettty easy time with mine.
