92 XJ steering and axle questions

I've recently purchased a 92 automatic cherokee from the auction. It has it has a 4" lift in the front and 2" in the back(sagged leafs) I believe. And it's on 32" x 11" tires. Dana 30 in the front and 35 in the back. I've wheeled it a few times. last time out there was a loud bang and I popped the power steering pressure line and noticed a small leak in the rear pinion seal.

I've been reading up and I've heard stock xj doesn't like big tires and buddy was saying that my axles are maxed out tire wise. Curious if anyone knows of some upgrades I can do or if just stock is good and I just had a bad steering line.

Swap the rear Dana 35 out for a Chrysler 8.25, fix the power steering leak, and upgrade to the ZJ tie rod setup.
