Default 89 Xj shuttered then cut off while driving

Was cruising at about 45 and when I pushed in the clutch to slow down for a light it shuttered then shut off. Started fine after but is rough at idle. Anybody want to point me in the right direction?

Lots of possibilities.

Last time it had plugs, wires, cap and rotor?

Vacuum line from the throttle body to MAP have holes/splits/melted spots/loose ends?

Might be the Crank position sensor, my '88 did that when it went bad.

Wires and plugs I changed about two weeks ago, also replace the IAC and checked for any vacuum leaks and found none. I had to drop it off at a shop this morning since I don't really have time to mess with it between moving and working so I'll see what they say, if it is the CPS how difficult is it to get to? I'd rather just replace it myself if it's relatively simple.

Its an easy job, in a tricky spot. It's located on top of the bell housing at about 2 o' clock (looking at it from the front of the vehicle).

Just don't drop the bolts into the bell-housing that is not a fun thing to deal with.
