Default 89 to 93 Engine Swap

I've got an 89 XJ that I recently purchased and was planning to swap out the motor for one from a 93 that I have for parts. I've recently discovered that there are some differences between the engines, in particular different heads (Renix vs OBD-I). How much of a pain in the butt is this going to be if I do a full engine swap?

For reference, the 89 has a bit of a frothy chocolate milk appearance in the oil when I bought it and was thinking I could just put the 93 in while I take my time doing a full rebuild of the 89.

I have been looking at them, love the tip on the comfort/power switch. I was told this was an issue from the previous owner and now I know how to fix it!!!
