Default 87 headlight wiring to 97+

I converted my front end to 97+ and when I took my old grill and stuff off it people in my auto class tossed it. So does anyone have a diagram that shows what all the wires go to so o can splice the new harness into the old.

you shouldnt need to splice anything. there is a connector by the airbox for the lights in the front clip.

you do have to splice the front marker lights as they are 2 bulb compared to the 1 bulb.
other than that, it should be plug and play.

By the air box I disconnected the original harness and lost it. I now have a 97 harness that has two more pins than the connector it goes to

oh yeah, you need both ends to the 97+ connector or you can just cut and splice each wire into your harness. use shrink tubes to seal it all up.

i'm gonna be doing this to mine maybe this week. had the parts for a couple of years, but decided to do it soon so i can install my new snorkel.

i will take pics and try to do a write-up on this.
