6" rough country lift with stock cherokee tires?
So yeah, i got a 6" rough country suspension lift for $200 from my friend and i was wondering if there would be any problems with running stock tires with that big of a lift..other then not grabbing that good offroad.
thanks, jmart

Its gonna look stupid and be tipsier than it was before but there is no reason that you can't do it. There will also be no off-road gain to it. Only thing lift is good for is running bigger tires.

I am guessing that you want to do this because you are too broke to get tires...
I can understand that... been there for sure
6" on stock tire will be goofy looking...
you will gain some belly clearance
3" lift might look better
I ran 3" lift with 235/75/15 tires for a little while
did not look too bad...
I eventually went to 3" and 33s with some fender trimming... you can do 3" and tires for around the same price as 6" on it's own

Well if u just "trim" the wheel wells to fit 38's even with no lift an youll still get lift cause the center of the tire is going to be higher so the lift is pretty much there to fit bigger tires so your axles won't as low as stick tires ......right?

other than looking goofy it will be fine. wont be any more tipsy on stock tires than with bigger tires. larger tires will be a little wider giving you more stability off road, but you will also sit higher so the affect is negligeable.
you can run a 33 on stock rims if you go with a 10.5" width. but you will most likely need wheel spacers to keep from rubbing at full lock.
What kind of control arms did you get with the kit?
for that matter what exactly did you get as a whole?
