Hey Cherokee forum,
Tried manual searching and googling.
Here is my current setup:
RC 4.5 " springs
RC Control Arm Drop kit/ Control Arm Drop Brackets
Stock upper control arms
RC curved lower control arms
RC adjustable track bar for 4-6" lift
4.5" full RC leaf pack with RC shackle for 6.5" lift in the rear.
I have JKS extended brake lines and JKS quicker disconnects model 2001 so good for 4-6" lift
My main concern is will I be able to use my current control arm setup with 6.5" coils? Or do I need adjustable control arms? I'm currently looking at N20Jeeps control arms but it will be a while on those.
Also while I'm here. Will those JKS sway bar discos still work? I have a custom front pre-runner winch bumper with a 10k xrc winch up front from L&L fabrication so I imagine that will compress the springs some.

Like I said in my first post, I have control arm drop kit already. I wanna go to 6.5 up front to match the rear.
I originally had 4.5 all around. An add a leaf kit which uses the shackle for the extra 1-2" I fell into a brand new 4.5 full leaf pack from RC. When I brought it to my jeep guy he installed the full leaf pack and left the shackle on. Thus 6.5 "
I currently run 33x12.5x15 may go to 35s

Do I need to wait for them? As I can get the 6.5 RC coils and sell my 4.5" RC coils and only cost me little money. I can also flex my jeep to install them on my own.
Vs I'd let my jeep guy doing the new control arms from N20. Which is gonna be 400+ or so...I'm saving for 4.88s, riddler diff cover and a Aussie locker.

Thanks man appreciate it. Never fell asleep and wasn't sure anyone would be on.
You know anyone running N20s arms? I was in his thread in the for sale section and only saw one "review"
Edit: will my shocks from the 4.5 kit work too? Couldn't find anything on RC page

I'd strongly recommend RE Super Flex Control arms for your application.
Rebuildable joints and much better axle articulation over any poly-bushing control arm.
Click on the pics...
And if the quality, fit and finish aren't enough, click on the following and check out the warranty info (pg. 84).

N20Jeeps are rebuild able I believe.
Also what do those offer over
http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtr...trol-arms.html ?
As those are significantly less expensive

Regardless of the brand, poly simply does not perform as well as the RE SuperFlex arms or as well as OEM style rubber bushings for that matter.
They also transmit far more vibes and road noise.
Poly bushings also place more stress on the thin metal OE control arm brackets on your axle. There are plenty of Jeep owners that have learned the hardway that the LCA Brackets will fold like a taco and/or tear off a lot easier when using poly bushings.
The poly bushing must be pretty soft to allow for decent flex, but then they wear out very quickly.
I've replaced a lot of poly bushing based control arms for guys....so yeah I've "Been There, Done That".

Im installing the same double control arm set up on mine and am running into some adjustment issues.
i have both lower and upper arms adjusted in all the way in. i started with the uppers out about 1 inch. my sway bar is hitting the coils. it looks like the springs have some arc in them pushing them forward. i made the lower longer, and the upper shorter and it rotated the axle and the spring cup so it took the arc out, but moved the front axel out too much and back into the sway bar. i'm sure my castor angle is way off now. it almost seems like it needs a shim at the front of the spring cup. what am i missing?
THANKS
