6.5 to 8.5 lift questions
I just put my 6.5" rough country on a little while back and i want it to be bigger..if i just do a spacer and block in the rear that would do it. But as far as steering components what would have to change? Already have the sye and other fun stuff.

stock steering? if you do, then it will be worse than it already is
trackbar might not be able to handle the height either. same with brake lines and shocks. a LOT needs to be addressed when you are going that high.

Im assuming your still on short arms?
Im not even going to ask why you would want to go that high but if your set on it for some reason than heres what you need.
First, since you say in your sig its already a spacer lift, I assume you are lacking in what you need for a 6.5" lift, never mine a 8"
Drop pitman arm.
Drop trac kbar to mount, thats adjustable enough for that lift height.
brake lines
shocks
Some sort of drop bracket at least for the arms, should be long arms
Drag link angle will be atrocious.
To do it right, it should have OTk knuckle steering and track bar.
Oh and a cage if you actually wheel it for when it flops over.

I got a buddy with 15" running 36 swappers and yes on a 30/35 combo
Home built uppers and lowers
Drop bracket for track bar
Over the knuckle steering with a custom high steer bracket added to the p*** knuckle
No SYE stock drive shaft ??
I'm guessing front springs off a f250 big custom spacer
Who knows where the rears came from with like 6" blocks
And all the other crap shocks break lines ...
Rides like crap flexes not at all but will it go through some mud? Yep and stay dry doing it
Purpose built mud truck looks good to no mountains here in Florida deep water and mud
