45rfe swap

So I was wondering tonight why no one has done a 45rfe with the 5 speed flash into an xj. Does anyone know if the 6cyl wj's had a different transmission than the 4.7v8?

Because that transmission is a piece of ****? The aw4 is one of the best modern autos made.

You really cant beat the AW4. The only thing that will kill it is heat but easily solved with a external cooler. Variants of it came in the camry and supra
