Default 4 link coils

I have a 4.5 rc lift. I'm thinking about 4 linking the rear. I was gonna do coil covers or even air shocks just can't afford them. What size and and vehicle coils would work?

If you can't afford coil overs, are you sure you can afford to 4-link the rear? Lots of fab work, gonna take time, money and effort to do it right. I'm guessing you don't have much experience with this sort of thing if you're asking this question. Not a rip, just an observation. Put on coils that provide the lift you want after you have your design worked out.

I have experience with this. Just don't know what coils to use. I don't want it to sit to low or to high in the rear. I have the tools and supplies to do this.

Well, start reading up on what others have done then, here's a link

As you can see, there's a lot of geometry and calculations you need to be doing to do this right. Settle on a design, how much lift you want, and measure for your coils.

If i didnt want to do the right thing and do the math, I'de probably call up Clayton/rock krawler. Tell them you bought their rear coil conversion from a third party-coils not included and ask what them what length they would use with your front 4.5. At which point you should just be able to do a quick Google search "coil springs xxx long" or something similar.
